The purpose of our Privacy Policy is to inform you when and how we collect personal data from you while you are using the Nioomi website and services under the domain "nioomi.com" and how we use your data. Personal data - Definitition

What kind of data does Nioomi collect?

Each time you access a page of our offer and each time you retrieve a file, access data about this process is stored in a log file on the server. In particular, this includes the following information:

File name of the retrieved content (or transmitted content when using the services),date and time of the request, Screen resolution, language and time zone settings, Operating system, browser and device type, Volume of data transferred, access status (content transferred, content not found, etc.), Referrer URL, e.g. Internet page previously visited, IP address and name of the Internet provider.

The IP address of your computer is stored only for the time of your use of the website and then immediately deleted or anonymized by shortening. We collect the aforementioned data because this is technically necessary for us to be able to display our website to you and to ensure the stability and security of the website. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.

To use Nioomi, you need to register on nioomi.com. For this purpose you have to provide a valid e-mail address and a password. The e-mail address can be used by Nioomi to get in contact with you, to inform you about necessary, missing or next steps or to point out timings and dependencies. If desired, the contact to a potential employer in Germany will be established. Furthermore, in the course of using the service, a lot of information is requested which is indispensable for Nioomi to be able to provide its service. Depending on the "task" you have to provide different information to Nioomi, which are listed below:

If you upload more educational information and your CV nioomi will store this information and provide them to potential companies that would be interested to hire you. The legal basis of the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) DS-GVO.

Nioomi offers you to upload further documents as (visa approval, your personal CV or other personal related documents as the Statement of Comparability, your recognition procedure and related results.

The storage of data can be revoked at any time. We can always delete the provided data and your entire user account at any time, based on an order from you (via mail). You agree to keep your personal access data confidential and not to disclose it to any unauthorized third party. We are not liable for misused passwords, unless we are responsible for the misuse. You should inform us immediately if you have reason to fear that a third party has gained knowledge of your password or that the password is being or has been used without authorization or that this is likely. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to us is accurate and complete and for notifying us of any changes to the information you provide. You may view and update information you have provided to us and your account settings on the Site. After you have finished communicating with Nioomi, you should log out and close the browser window, especially if you are sharing the computer with other people.

Disclosure of your data by Nioomi to third parties

We do not pass on your personal data to third parties, unless you have consented to the data transfer, this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or we are legally obliged to do so. If you wish to apply to a company, or if you want us to recommend you to a company, these companies will have access to the data you have provided. In this case, personal data of our users will also be transmitted to these companies. However, the companies are only authorized to process the relevant personal data in connection with the application process (in particular, in order to be able to store the data in your applicant database) and to contact the users if they are interested. The legal basis of the processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) and f) DS-GVO. Information that you provide on partner sites is subject to the guidelines of our partners. Nioomi is not responsible for the information you provide there.

Use of cookies

In addition to the aforementioned usage data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device and through which Nioomi receives certain information. However, cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. Currently we use cookies to store your information until you register at Nioomi.com.

We use cookies to enable the use of certain features and functionalities. We use transient and persistent cookies on our website. If you close your browser, transient cookies are automatically deleted. These cookies include, in particular, session cookies. These make it possible to recognize your computer when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted as soon as you close the browser or log out. Nioomi does not use any external analysis tools, but only has internal installations in use that ensure appropriate onsite tracking.

We use AWS S3 to properly deliver the content on our website. AWS S3 is a service of Amazon Web Services, Inc., which acts as a content delivery network (CDN) on our website. A CDN helps to provide content of our online offer, especially files such as graphics or scripts, faster with the help of regionally or internationally distributed servers. When you access this content, you establish a connection to servers of Amazon Web Services, Inc. whereby your IP address and possibly browser data such as your user agent are transmitted. This data is processed solely for the above purposes and to maintain the security and functionality of AWS S3. The use of the Content Delivery Network is based on our legitimate interests, i.e. interest in a secure and efficient provision and optimization of our online offer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO.

Does Nioomi store my data in case of a request?

If you send an inquiry to Nioomi, Nioomi stores the communication history with you as well as the information and data transmitted in the course of this communication (e.g. e-mail address) in order to answer your inquiry and further inquiries. Nioomi deletes the corresponding data after storage is no longer necessary or restricts the processing if legal retention periods exist.

Data security

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee data security, in particular to protect your personal data against access by third parties, as well as accidental or intentional modification, loss or destruction. The transfer of your personal data from your end user device to us is always encrypted (https).

What rights do I have against Nioomi?

With regard to the personal data concerning you, you have the rights of access, rectification or deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability. For corresponding requests or notifications from users, Nioomi is available at the address given. We would also like to point out that the deletion of user data is only possible if there are no legal regulations to the contrary. Information will be transmitted electronically (by e-mail). If you make use of this possibility of providing information via e-mail, the e-mail address provided (both sender and recipient) will not be used for any purpose other than providing information and documenting it. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us. If we are legally obliged to disclose data to local, state, national or international authorities, we will comply with this obligation.
