We are hiring a Technical Support Engineer for our client, an international e-commerce group with more than 45 million monthly active users headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.

Join our client’s Tech Department, driven by the passion to develop the best infrastructure and applications. You will work on high-scalable products on a cloud-based infrastructure and collaborate with developers who constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of “state of the art" technology.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be essential in driving customer support and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will involve diagnosing and solving issues from our customers, a key part of our software-as-a-service offerings. You’ll work in diverse technical environments, working with PHP within our digital ecosystem. This position places you at the heart of our SaaS operations and offers continuous opportunities for learning and advancement in new technologies, fostering your growth into an expert technologist.

Qualifications

  • Having a university degree in a tech-related field or similar practical experience and training.
  • Prior experience in working with SaaS (Software as a Service) applications and their underlying infrastructure.
  • 3 or more years of related technical experience in supporting or developing PHP-based applications.
  • Proficiency in software support and troubleshooting.
  • Capability in writing and debugging complex PHP applications.
  • Experience with various database technologies.
