Data Lead - Product (m/f/d)

We are hiring a Data Lead for our client, a world-class mobility innovator shaping the future of transportation. Join our client’s Rider Data Team in Hamburg or Berlin. As part of this role, you will tackle complex, large-scale problems with a diverse, highly motivated team. Your mission: to deliver unparalleled product experiences across taxis, scooters, and public transportation.

• Lead a dynamic team of 4-5 Data Analysts and Engineers, driving data-centric processes, analyses, and strategic development for B2C and B2B customers.
• Translate data insights into tangible business value, aligning with the VP of Rider Product and design leaders to enhance communication and collaboration.
• Foster cross-domain teamwork with Data Leaders and Principals, adopting industry best practices.
• Empower your team by focusing on impactful outcomes through strategic thinking and informed decision-making.
• Guide product feature development and improvements, steering data experiments and leveraging statistical methods for impactful app changes.

• Proven experience leading high-performing data teams in tech or product organizations.
• Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Qlikview.
• Hands-on experience in A/B test analysis and solid understanding of statistical principles.
• Experience in working with data visualization tools (e.g.Tableau, Qlikview) and event tracking (e.g. Mixpanel, GA, Firebase).
• Ability to engage and influence decision-makers by using data visualization and storytelling.
• Excellent English communication skills, capable of coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
