Senior Node.JS Developer - BI/CRM (m/f/d)

We are hiring a Senior Node.JS Developer for our client, an international e-commerce group with more than 45 million monthly active users headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.

Join our client’s Business Intelligence & Customer Relationship Management Team, delivering personalized and intelligent recommendations and tailored mailing, push, and onsite notifications to our customers, leveraging their historical consumption behaviour. We handle over 15 million real-time API calls per hour and manage extensive data resources to ensure our customers’ best shopping experience!

Challenges:

• Continue to develop a feature-rich yet simple-to-use CRM
• High-performance Segmentation & Delivery
• Develop many new onsite use cases, like personalized campaigns & coupons

• Develop cutting-edge CRM software utilizing NodeJS with TypeScript.
• Manage extensive data volumes efficiently, employing Google BigQuery and MySQL and seamlessly integrating with Business Intelligence systems.
• Build and enhance high-traffic APIs, ensuring minimal latencies.
• Collaborate closely with seasoned developers, product managers, QA experts, and analysts to enhance current functionalities and launch novel features.
• Encouragement for innovative ideas and creations, a flat organizational structure, and rapid decision-making processes ensure ample room for contribution and growth.

• Min 2 years of Node.js experience
• Practical & recent experience with TypeScript
• Solid know-how in working with relational databases
• You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Practical & recent experience with React, VueJs, Angular or similar frontend frameworks is a plus
